Checkatrade Abandoned Us in a Pinch

We were totally reliant on Checkatrade to source us a trustworthy contractor for our renovation project. We joined and posted our requirements, but unfortunately, we were left in the lurch.

Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade favors their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you believe Checkatrade. Their whole setup is designed to take your money. They promise the world but they a load of rubbish. You'll be left high and dry and nobody at Checkatrade will lift a finger.

It all starts with their sneaky charges, which they hide in the legalese. Then, there's the terrible support that's about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to complain, but it's like pulling teeth.

So, avoid them like the plague of Checkatrade if you value your time.

Was Checkatrade a Total Fraud?

We thought we were doing the right move by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so trustworthy with their qualified traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Then, the communication from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to discuss the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up payinga huge sum/an exorbitant amount/ way more than it should have been by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's customer service was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling disappointed and warn everyone against using them for your tradesman needs.
